Four hundred + miles!
Rob phoned this afternoon to report his arrival at the famed Kincora Hostel on Dennis Cove Road, Hampton, TN. He'll be cooking pimiento cheese burgers tonight! He feels strong, feet are getting better, and he's "almost through with the aches and pains" though he is still being careful with that knee. Kincora is at the 404.5 mile mark from Springer!

I can't believe I missed your call today! I am so BUMMED, which I'm sure my rambling voicemail reveals. I love that I pay various New York communication services around 8 million pre-tax dollars a month to miss the very phone calls I care about. Feels so good inside. Anyway. I need to hear all about this notorious hostel (I have already forgotten your hostess's name, what was it, Ms. Scotch Porter McGunshot of the deep South) and I have a book that you NEED to read, can you deal with me sending you a hardcover? I don't care if you rip it to shreds. You just need to read this book. Oh Greg is moving in the first week of June. I am really happy to be living with some semblance of a family this summer. Plus I will make him my slave and accompany me on terrible tasks like bus rides to Ikea for $10 curtains.
