Well, it's over. Between April 1 and October 13, 2007, I hiked the 2,174 mile Appalachian Trail between Georgia and Maine. Now, I'm back in the real world and getting ready for whatever comes next!

HEY MAN ! Congratulations Bigby. I'm so proud of you. What an amazing accomplishment. I summited on 09/21/07. I just got word that many others that I knew were still on the trail and it makes me wish I turned around and hiked back to you guys. Get home safe and be sure to drop me a line. Laters.

Interestingly, the snow came to the summit the day after we hiked up. Now hikers are waiting anxiously for it to melt.
Seems we were lucky.
